MY STORY OF MEETING KID ROCK

First I would like to thank the God for making this all possible. Next I would like to
thank the academy, I would like to thank Bitch for givine me the greatest gift ideas in
the world. I would like to thank Magoo for being a soul mate, I would like to thank
Cashley for always being so sweet, and I like to thank Karma for alway reminding me
that he is such a nice person, and also Dawnj for always reminding me if I ever meet
him I'll see how nice he is, and also Dawnj for making me feel like I have a silly school
girl crush , most of all I'd like to thank my sweet, great husband for putting up with
my obsession and draggin my butt all over the place to chase after another man. And
I am so sure I've forgotten people but I am still nervous and can't believe this night
happened to me so forgive me. But I seriously have met some of the nicest people
ever in my life on these boards and I told Kid Rock he has the greatest fans ever and
not to forget that.

So here is how it happened..........

We arrived in this little shit hole town sorry if anyone is from that area but...
on Friday night I spoke to some of you on the boards this weekend... of and on...
and we couldn't believe Kid Rock was going to be performin in this place, I took
pictures of his name on this little bill board like they put up for movie theatres it was
funny no flashing lights here. So anyway on Sat. I got up early and we walked to the
place over and over and over in the wind, rain, and frezzing cold checking out the
crowd the people there setting up etc... we talked to a lot of people that work for the
show you could walk right up and talk to people there was only one 800 yr. old
security guard that wasn't sure what was going on. So finally by evening I seen
Wardo and walked up and ask him if he was Wardo by this time I had a few drinks in
me you know liquid nerve. ha ha
So he said yes I told him me and hubby were great fans and I had a gift I would only
like 1 min. if possible to give it to him, he said the place was going to be a nighmare
and it might be a good place to give him a gift I showed the gift to Wardo I had in on
me all day in a bright shiney gold gift bag you couldn't miss me for miles, well with
that and the word sea monkeys written on my hand in big black magic marker that is.
So he said oh cool Bob will love that. So he told us to enjoy the show he'd see us
after the show. So we went in to the show it was a nightmare another GA people
could go anywhere so yes all 5,000 wanted to be on the floor pushed up to the stage.
I have never seen so many people dragged out either for being shoved and pushed
and wanted out or for fighting, it was crazy. Me and hubby ended up right on the
inside of this gate that wasn't tied down with the security guards. They wanted to go
get my husband a secuirty shirt cause all night he held the one end of the little gate
closed. But we were up in the corner enough that we didn't get pushed and shoved.
So finally the show was over I mean it was a great show if you could concentrate on
the show and not all the crap going on around you.

We went back stage and waited and waited I saw Jimmy talk to him took a picture
sweetest person in the world. Mentioned people he has met off the boards Karma he
says Hi. Truely a nice person

We waited patiently, quietly not causing any trouble or asking any questions I didn't
want to do anything to screw this up. So finally I mean after a long time we got taken
into his (Bob's) dressing room. At this time my gift bag was in his room and he had
saw my shirt. OH MY GOD! When I walked in there he immediatly walked up to me and
hubby and said I really want to thank you for the T-shirt that was great and I said do
you really like it he said Yeah fuck yeah I love Johnny Cash and its even a large. Then
I got really nervous (yeah like I was shitting in my pants already) I said well I thought
I should get you a medium but it was a ebay item and it was only in a large, then he
started shruggin his shoulders and said what are you trying to say I aint a large. I was
like oh my god my foot can now please eject from my mouth. I started saying
something about well hubby is a med. and they are about the same size whatever. So
anyway we kept talking and I ask could he autograph a few things I have been carring
about to concert after concert he said sure anything so I got two things singed well
when I tried taking them out of this plastic baggie I had been carring about I dropped
them on the floor he said its okay bent down got them for me. I couldn't get my
hands to work to get them out of the baggie he grabbed my hands and said calm
down, stop shaking while laughing his ass off at me. I said to him: I AM SO SORRY
BUT I NEVER EVER IN A MILLION YEARS THOUGHT I'D BE STANDING HERE TALKING TO
YOU. He said its just me I am just like you. I am just like anyone else I am not really
that special I just run my mouth a lot. We laughed a lot while talking to him, he is so
nice, so sincere, and such a normal guy. Its incredible to talk to him. I think I am a
bigger fan now than before cause he really is a great person. He ask if people had
seen the Vh-1 thing I told him I had and he did a great job talking about things he
said I was just sitting there running my mouth like I always do.

Oh and also when I took out this fat magic marker for his signature he ask someone to
go get me a sharpie, he said that way it wont smear. I was like oh god what else am I
going to do dumb. It was so funny. Hubby said later he wished he could of recorded
us talking cause my voice was so nervous.
Then hubby reminded me sea monkeys and I said oh yeah I have something I have to
ask you
I showed him my hand, he was cracking up that I had wrote that on my palm, he said
oh yes tell her the sea monkeys are in my studio waiting for me to be done touring. So
there you go magoo the mystery on that is solved.

I ask him about his teacher on the vh-1 thing , if she knew he writes the way he does
holding his pen funny and he said they tried and tried to correct me but I got in so
much trouble they use to make me copy shit like the dictionary so I would hold my
pen that way so it was comfortable and then I'd be like hummm hummm hummm wan't
me to copy so more. He is so funny, and I want you all to know in person he has the
most beautiful, big blue eyes I have ever seen. Kinda like Niki's. We talked about the
boards and the great people we have met and how great and dedicated his fans are.
He said sometimes he can't believe its just him and they love him so much, its
overwhelming. We talked aobut our kids and I told him my daughter introduced me to
his music and she has been to shows and he thought that was great that parents and
kids can have him in common. So he offered some pictures thank me so much again
for the shirt I ask him if one day I might see him wearing it he said sure I love it. We
shook hands I don't know how many times and then we left he said it was great to
meet us he hopes to see us again, I was like FUCK I hope to see you again..... (i
didn't say that) but...

Then we thanked Wardo and left the building.............
I swear this was the biggest dream come true ever for me. I know Dawnj I am a silly
girl when it comes to this stuff.... But stuff like this just don't happen to me usually. I
will post some pictures and sorry this story took me so longg..... we drove back all
day yesterday stopping a long the way etc....
